Yes, AP will be abandoned if you leave the country before it is approved. So wait till you get the AP approval and then go for the stamping. I was in such a situation and my attorney adviced me to wait till AP approval. In that case even if Visa gets rejected ot delay one can return on AP.

Hi all!
I've been trying to get a job offer from Canada for the past one year as my occupation is not on the list of occupations that have shortage. I'm a market research analyst and work online with a UK company for almost 3 years. I would love to move to Canada and have a real job and family but am at a stage where I do not know what else to do as the companies want you to be present in Canada and Canadian govt asks for a job offer to get a visa?
Very confused here. If someone got an arranged offer from Canada could you please guide on how much work experience you had and how you got an offer?
Thanks!
-If your job is not in NOC, you have limited choices.
1)Move to Canada & study for 1 yr., a person who have study there for 1 yr. in Canada & has 2 yr. of experience can apply for Canada immigration, even if his profession is not in NOC list. You would be eligible as you have 3 yrs. experience.
try this (http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/skilled-worker-professional-immigration-b4.0/)
2)Job Offer from Canada, this would be quite tough as everyone prefers local candidate.

My case was filed in EB-3 category (August 2003). I completed a doctorate in 2007. I am thinking of filing in EB-1 and EB-2. Can anyone help me with links for preparing these applications and some dos and donts? Also is there any way to recapture my earlier PD (Aug 2003) for the current filing? Thanks for your help.

I have my AP approved H1 valid till 2009 but stamp expired. If I marry a non us resident and bring her on H4 and Myself enter in US using AP. Does it mean that my H1 is invalidated?
Does it mean that my wife's H4 will be invalidated also and she becomes out of status since my H1 is invalidated?
Or I am completely wrong here?
I can't file her 485 since my PD is not current and also I cant have h1 restamped cause it takes way long to get it stamped.
Any Idea?

Thanks guys!
Most of the time I don't really like photos that are processed with canned Photoshop effects, they are either too obvoiusly based on a photo or not "handmade" enough. I think by chance (I tried one efter the other just for fun and to see what they did) I stumbled on an effect ("Diffuse Glow" distortion effect in CS) that surprisingly gave this sort of painting or water color look. I tried it on some other photos and it just made a total mess of them. It just somehow worked for this specific picture.
